Research

I study Intelligent Interactive technology, especially social robots using a community-oriented perspective in real settings. I observe collective public behavior and analyze how technology can be used for placemaking, to promote liveliness and sociability in public and community spaces.

Design

My design journey began with the study of use and perceptions of spatial elements in architecture and urban design and has extended to critical thinking about interactive technology as urban and community infrastructure. I am intrigued by the work of architects Antonio Gaudi, Frank Gehry, and Tadao Ando.
